4th Mascot Marathon - 29th Sept. 2002

There was massive controversy over the result of this years race. The winner Chaddy the Owl faced a steward's enquiry when annoyed Scunny Bunny, from Scunthorpe United , complained that he wasn't wearing "regulation pantomime boots."

Officials rejected the claims and awarded the 4th Mascot Marathon award to Chaddy the Owl (Kevin Williams, 28) - who proudly claimed the trophy.  The officials rejected the complaint saying "that it was all above board."
